School's Out

School's out and I'm loving it!!!

It has been so nice to be free from bus, school and homework schedules. During the school year, Josh and Bekah are off by 6:55 am and Matthew is the last one home at 3:50 pm, after that...the homework begins. We still get up and get our day going, but my alarm is not set for 5:42. Sleeping in til 6 or 6:30 makes such a huge difference!!!

Another thing I love about school being out is having everyone around. I don't know other families, but with my family when school gets out and they are away from the daily school grind, they gel much better. This used to happen with Steph and Josh and it happens now with Bekah and Matthew. They laugh and play a whole lot more. As I sit here blogging, Bekah and Matthew are playing with play-dough and earlier we watched the Pink Panther 2.

For me, summertime is much more laid back and easy going. Throughout the school year our family tends to go at 100 miles an hour. It's a welcome change and I truly appreciate it:)
